Our client is one of the largest independent fencing, timber, and builders’ merchants in the UK. Currently, they are seeking a Class 2 Driver to join their well-established team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive in accordance with the law, ensuring safety and courtesy.
- Comply with current legislation.
- Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading.
- Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service.
- Build rapport with customers, displaying politeness and courtesy.
- Proactively contribute to sales growth by seeking out potential opportunities.
- Be vigilant in preventing loss or damage of products and vehicles.
- Report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately.
We would love to meet someone with:
- A valid HGV Class 2 License.
- A valid Hiab License (essential).
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and methodical approach.
- Good interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to approach customers.
