We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Paint Sprayer to join a busy manufacturing operation in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paint sprayer with experience working on large commercial vehicles who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for preparing, masking, and spraying large commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality, safety, and production targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and mask vehicles ready for painting
  • Carry out paint spraying on large commercial vehicles
  • Complete light preparation work and general paint shop duties
  • Work efficiently to production line takt times
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
  • Identify and report quality concerns proactively
  • Follow all health & safety procedures, including correct PPE usage
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the paint shop
  • Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work flexibly across different areas of the production facility when required

Requirements:

  • Essential:
  • Previous experience spraying commercial vehicles
  • Experience spraying HGVs, buses, coaches, trailers, plant machinery, or similar large equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to work to production deadlines and targets
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude and strong team-working skills
  • Flexible approach to overtime and changing business requirements
