We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Paint Sprayer to join a busy manufacturing operation in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paint sprayer with experience working on large commercial vehicles who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role
- You will be responsible for preparing, masking, and spraying large commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality, safety, and production targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mask vehicles ready for painting
- Carry out paint spraying on large commercial vehicles
- Complete light preparation work and general paint shop duties
- Work efficiently to production line takt times
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
- Identify and report quality concerns proactively
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including correct PPE usage
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the paint shop
- Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work flexibly across different areas of the production facility when required
Requirements:
- Essential: Previous experience spraying commercial vehicles
- Experience spraying HGVs, buses, coaches, trailers, plant machinery, or similar large equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work to production deadlines and targets
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and strong team-working skills
- Flexible approach to overtime and changing business requirements
