We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a busy Aftermarket team working on a wide range of refuse collection vehicles and heavy equipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding, fabrication, repairs, and refurbishments on HGVs and RCVs. This includes stripping and rebuilding vehicle components such as bodies, hoppers, and bin lifts, ensuring all work meets DVSA and high-quality standards. You will play a key role in keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and fully operational.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication (210mm)
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Self-motivated with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Welding/fabrication qualification (BSEN 287 coding desirable)
- Experience with RCVs or mechanical/hydraulic work is a bonus
