We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing bookings, and coordinating workshop operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and at the service counter
- Prepare job cards, raise invoices, and manage service bookings
- Liaise with technicians and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time
- Keep customers updated on job progress, costs, and authorisations
- Complete estimates accurately and ensure workshop workload is efficiently managed
- Previous experience as a service advisor in a commercial vehicle or van environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency with DMS systems (e.g., Kerridge) or similar
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and provide excellent customer service
