We are recruiting for a Field Service Controller to join a busy Aftermarket team in Croydon. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you'll coordinate field service activities, manage breakdowns, and support engineers to ensure excellent service delivery.
Duties:
- Handle incoming customer and engineer enquiries
- Log breakdowns and schedule field service activities
- Coordinate engineer attendance and provide customer updates
- Prioritise urgent vehicle-off-road (VOR) cases
- Manage warranty and chargeable repairs
- Liaise with third-party repair providers and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPI updates
- Support service administration and warranty claim submissions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a service coordination, controller, or customer service role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good technical understanding of vehicle or mechanical components
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
