An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IMI Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a large fleet operation in Swindon. Working Hours

  • Full-time, 39.5 hours per week
  • Rotating shift pattern:
    • Week 1: 06:00 - 14:30
    • Week 2: Monday - Thursday 12:30 - 21:00, Friday 10:30 - 19:00
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays required (with a weekday off)
  • Shift allowance payable on late shifts
  • Saturday attendance supplement available

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections, servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
  • Work on a range of commercial vehicles, trailers, and fleet equipment
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop compliance
  • Support the wider workshop team to ensure fleet availability

Requirements

  • IMI Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, or equivalent
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician on LCVs, HGVs, or mixed fleets
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Own tools for routine servicing and repairs
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Flexible approach to shift work and weekend working
