We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Parts Business Development Manager to join a growing automotive business covering the Leicester, Peterborough, Thetford and Cambridge areas. This role is focused on developing and growing parts sales across a range of cars, vans and trucks. It's a great opportunity for a target-driven sales professional who understands the full sales process and is confident selling and closing deals face-to-face. Full product training will be provided.
The Role
- Develop and grow automotive parts sales within your territory
- Identify and win new business opportunities with garages, fleets and trade customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing deals
- Promote a wide range of car, van and truck parts
- Increase brand awareness and market share within your region
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
- Spend approximately 85% of your time in the field meeting customers
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales or business development experience (3-5 years preferred)
- Strong face-to-face sales experience and closing ability
- Experience within an automotive parts, motor factor, commercial vehicle or dealership parts environment
- Good understanding of the sales process and relationship management
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage and develop a sales territory independently
