An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Level 3 Qualified LGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle operation in Glasgow. Working within a busy workshop environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained, serviced, and repaired to the highest standards. Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:30
  • Overtime available as required

The Role

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing LGVs and commercial vehicles
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with operator licence regulations
  • Maintaining accurate workshop records and documentation
  • Working effectively within a busy workshop team

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience within the commercial vehicle repair industry
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • HGV Driving Licence
  • IRTEC Accreditation
  • Completed apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance and repair
