We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established commercial vehicle and fleet maintenance business in Bellshill.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accident damage repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers
- Complete panel repairs and bodywork rectification to a high standard
- Undertake off-site repairs at customer locations when required
- Identify additional repair requirements and report findings promptly
- Ensure efficient use of parts, materials and repair methods
- Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Wear and maintain PPE in accordance with company policies
- Work independently when required and follow lone-working procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater, HGV Panel Beater or Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician
- Experience repairing commercial vehicle bodywork
- Strong understanding of panel repair techniques
- Basic knowledge of paint products and application methods
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Desirable
- Municipal vehicle experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- LGV Class 1 Licence
