Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week)

We are recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established commercial vehicle and fleet maintenance business in Bellshill.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out accident damage repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Complete panel repairs and bodywork rectification to a high standard
  • Undertake off-site repairs at customer locations when required
  • Identify additional repair requirements and report findings promptly
  • Ensure efficient use of parts, materials and repair methods
  • Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Wear and maintain PPE in accordance with company policies
  • Work independently when required and follow lone-working procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater, HGV Panel Beater or Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician
  • Experience repairing commercial vehicle bodywork
  • Strong understanding of panel repair techniques
  • Basic knowledge of paint products and application methods
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

Desirable

  • Municipal vehicle experience
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • LGV Class 1 Licence
