Class 2 Drainage / Tanker Driver

Location: Rainham, Essex (Covering London & South East)

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Hours: 06:00 - 17:00 + (Saturdays 1 in 7)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily planned routes including tank emptying, water refills, and drainage services
  • Operate effluent tankers and water bowers, including use of hydrants
  • Empty vehicles at sewage treatment works (STW)
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional vehicle at all times
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Liaise with the office regarding job updates or issues
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Requirements:

  • Minimum Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • Aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
  • Maximum 6 penalty points

Pay Rates:

  • 06:00 - 16:00: £17.00 per hour
  • After 16:00: £17.50 per hour
  • Weekends / Bank Holidays: £20.00 per hour
  • Minimum 5 hours paid per shift

Bonus & Benefits:

  • £150 monthly attendance bonus
  • Performance-related discretionary bonuses
