Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30 - 17:30
- Overtime available as required
The Role
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing LGVs and commercial vehicles
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
- Ensuring compliance with operator licence regulations
- Maintaining accurate workshop records and documentation
- Working effectively within a busy workshop team
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience within the commercial vehicle repair industry
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- HGV Driving Licence
- IRTEC Accreditation
- Completed apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance and repair
