We are seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic for an industry leading client in Bristol. Our client is one of the most well respected in the HGV fleet industry and a household name throughout the UK meaning there is plenty of progression opportunities for their team!
Location: Bristol
Salary: £46,683 - £52,683 (Realistic OTE of £58,000+) 1.5X OT Rate
Shifts Available: Day Shift OR Rotating shift (earlies and lates) Monday to Friday - No weekend working required OR 4on4off (Days and Night shift available)
Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on various HGV/Trailers.
- Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
- Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used, maintaining thorough documentation.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (will also consider time served applicants).
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
