Introduction
At RSA, we believe insurance is about people, not things. We provide our inspiring colleagues the support and opportunity to grow together, shape the future, and win as a team. We are going through a transformation journey, providing our people with opportunity to be integral to improving our service and delivering better products to brokers and customers. We are a proud member of the Intact family, we feel part of something bigger, with a presence in North America, the UK and Europe.
We have a bold ambition to become the best Commercial Lines business in the UK, demonstrated by our recent acquisition of NIG and Farmweb, allowing us to scale by leveraging our combined financial strength and importantly ensure our people feel the benefits of our joint capabilities.
We are currently recruiting for a Social Impact Analyst to join our established and experienced team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your role
The Social Impact Analyst will support the measurement and communication of RSA and Intact Financial Corporation’s (Intact) ambition to build resilient communities. The role holder will be self-motivated and thrive in navigating a constantly changing landscape, working across the organisation with different project stakeholders to deliver impact.
They will support the team to assess impacts, risks and opportunities in the development and implementation of RSA’s social impact strategy. The role sits within our UK&I region but is part of the Intact Global Social Impact team, working together to align activities across the Intact Group.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support regional social impact partnerships contributing to RSA’s Building Resilient Communities strategy.
  • Collect, collate, and analyse non-financial performance data from our UK and EU operations for internal and external reporting purposes – including synthesising data for our global social impact dashboard – working with IFC stakeholders to establish consistency in definitions and approach.
  • Provide research and interpretation on policy developments which affect our business and our industry, including assessing emerging trends across the landscape of ESG issues.
  • Coordinate ESG functional input into audits of IFC’s EU-level disclosure and improvements to the effectiveness of our data governance processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with our communications teams to develop, deliver, and drive strategic employee engagement plans that support our programmes and agenda, including creating content for intranet and external websites including case studies, blogs, and social media assets.
  • Plan and execute social impact events, including the Generosity Roadshow, across sites and geographies.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret emerging trends, policy developments, risks and opportunities which affect our business and industry with a focus on the UK and the EU.
  • Establish project plans and associated monitoring, budget tracker and other process management tasks.

About You
You will be a self-directed problem solver with good analytical skills and a natural curiosity for uncovering insights. You will have the ability to distil complex performance data into actionable recommendations; you bring clarity and strategic value to the teams you support.
Your proven project management skills enable you to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while staying organised and meeting tight deadlines.
You’re a confident communicator, capable of building good relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You bring creativity and openness to innovative ideas, and you thrive in roles where strategic thinking and collaboration go hand-in-hand.
Ideally, you also bring knowledge of the social impact and ESG landscape, understanding the risks and opportunities these present for RSA, IFC, and the wider insurance sector.
What We Offer You
At RSA we put our people first. We have adopted hybrid working as standard, to give you a better work/life balance and an excellent flexible working mindset. That is on top of a comprehensive range of benefits, including pension contributions of up to 11% looking after you now, and in the future.
We’ll give you countless opportunities to continuously develop, alongside a diverse and passionate community of experts – the best the industry has to offer. You’ll be empowered to be your best self, do your best work, and make a meaningful impact. Our employee promise allows you to shape the future, win as a team, and grow with us.
