This role involves working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management, and business development techniques to help achieve this growth. This applies to a range of new and/or existing cases within our agreed process and defined underwriting appetite. You will spend most of your time working with your selected brokers, identifying, discussing, negotiating, and converting/renewing new/existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting decisions. Within this role, you will underwrite Commercial Property, Package, and Liability business.
To be successful as a Senior Property, Package, and Liability Underwriter, you will require extensive experience within either Commercial Property, Package, or Liability Underwriting from a New Business or Existing Business perspective. You will be able to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure growth of the account.
