Win as a Team: The purpose of this role is to support the product development, technical capability and large case underwriting of the Financial Risk portfolio, and act as a consulting expert in providing support and oversight across corresponding e‑Trade and Delegated portfolios.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Working with the Financial Risk product owners, your role will lead projects to ensure the continuous development of Financial Risk products to meet customer requirements and respond to market opportunities.
- Responding to regulatory and legislative changes to ensure products, underwriting guidelines and licences manage the Commercial Lines (CL) appetite. You will also be responsible for the oversight of underwriting risk in the Financial Risk portfolio, including accumulation risk monitoring.
- Prepare reports and recommendations as required.
- Leading the technical capability, oversight and empowerment of the underwriting community across a specific CL portfolio, through development of appropriate training material and licence frameworks.
- Support underwriting and pricing of the most complex cases and develop the business capability in Financial Risk.
Your skills and experience:
- To be able to deliver the underwriting licence framework to ensure the appropriate oversight and empowerment for profitable growth in the Financial Risk business.
- Extensive experience in Financial Risk Underwriting.
- Experience of driving profitable growth through underwriting risk selection, product development and underwriting process development.
- Stakeholder management and relationship skills.
