Responsibilities
- Work with the Financial Risk product owners and lead projects to ensure continuous development of Financial Risk products that meet customer requirements and respond to market opportunities.
- Respond to regulatory and legislative changes to ensure products, underwriting guidelines and licences manage the Commercial Lines appetite, and oversee underwriting risk in the portfolio, including accumulation risk monitoring.
- Prepare reports and recommendations as required.
- Lead the technical capability, oversight and empowerment of underwriting community across a specific CL portfolio, through development of appropriate training material and licence frameworks.
- Support underwriting and pricing of the most complex cases and develop the business capability in Financial Risk.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Financial Risk Underwriting.
- Experience driving profitable growth through underwriting risk selection, product development and underwriting process development.
- Stakeholder management and relationship skills.
