Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior non-CIO leadership, acting as a trusted procurement interface to provide commercial insight and support informed decisions.
- Shape and evolve category strategies that align with business priorities, demand plans and regulatory expectations, delivering clear and effective outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activity, defining routes to market and commercial models that deliver value while managing risk effectively.
- Turn spend data and market insight into actions that optimise demand, reduce complexity and maximise supplier value.
- Strengthen strategic supplier relationships through governance, clear KPIs and continuous improvement activity.
- Build a value pipeline including cost savings, cost avoidance and innovation, ensuring transparency through partnership with Finance.
Qualifications:
- Background partnering with senior leaders, offering commercial challenge and influencing investment decisions.
- Deep knowledge across procurement, sourcing and supplier management within complex environments.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver category strategies that balance cost, risk and innovation outcomes.
- Solid understanding of supplier risk, regulatory requirements and operational resilience within supply chains.
- Confidence managing strategic supplier relationships, driving performance through structured governance and collaboration.
- Ability to use market insight and data to inform decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
