Location – Derby (DE24 9GJ). Working days/hours – Monday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm.
As a Stores Coordinator, you will manage the onsite RS Integrated Supply team through the day to day running of the stores. You will deliver a high level of customer service within the Customer’s site that supports their Manufacturing Services Operation and meets our contractual obligations and continue to build and grow strong customer relationships through continuously improving the offer we provide, strong communication and accountability skills.
What you will be doing
- Team Management – Motivating and leading your team successfully, whilst ensuring the ongoing development of individual team members. Carrying out regular 121 reviews to assess individuals’ performance against the RS Integrated Supply Values providing feedback that ensures continuous development.
- Stores Management – Support your team in the day to day running of the store’s operation; ensure the stores is managed and maintained to a high standard so it meets the relevant performance indicators as defined by the business. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment that reflects our professional image.
- Continuous Improvement – Continue site improvement projects including a relocation, labelling and stock checking project to ensure we are offering the highest standard to the client.
- Systems – Data entry of all daily transactions and stock movements onto relevant systems. Ensure all stores systems and procedures are followed. Understanding the importance of the requirements of ISO 9002 and ensuring that all the required internal/customer’s systems are followed in accordance with the scope of supply.
- Customer Service – Delivering continuous improvement in service to achieve customer satisfaction through the implementation of added value initiatives and exceeding customer expectations.
- Interpersonal Skills – Communicating with customers and colleagues in a way that achieves results whilst maintaining professional relationships. Regular review meetings with key stakeholders at the site.
- Flexibility & Resource – Be adaptable to the changing demands of the business and operational needs in delivering the companies contractual obligations to the customer across all disciplines/locations. When necessary, help, manage, and support other operations/location within the Electrocomponents Group.
- Health and Safety – Complying with all the necessary Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace and escalate any H&S issues to the nominated contact within the customer site and at the Head Office; ensure yourself and your team have completed monthly Safety hub training modules within the set timeframe.
- Supplier interaction – Supplier visits, discussing new/improved discounts etc.
- OPEX – Internal Audit is a huge part of the job and ensuring that you are following the correct processes to be in the best position to prepare for the OPEX (Hold or maintain a Gold Standard award). SSL and Empty Bin reviews.
