Role: Senior Master Data Management Analyst
Location: Warrington/home based (hybrid)
We have an exciting opportunity within our analytical function here at RS integrated Supply, which is part of RS Group, for a Senior Master Data Management Analyst to join.
What you will be doing:
The post holder will be a critical stakeholder in the development of qualitative data foundation of the delivery of insight-driven initiatives in the framework of the Organisation’s overall business transformation. From designing and deploying cutting-edge data governance frameworks to enabling AI, ML, and automation across our platforms, you will lead the charge in building a robust data foundation. You will be a core player in several strategic projects and lead some analytics activities. As a transformation and best practice agent, you will design, build, and deploy our data governance framework to enable our insights, AI, ML artefacts as well as overall data automation. The Master Data Manager will be a driving force in the implementation of the Master Data Management initiatives spanning from data governance, strategic implementation of the framework, monitoring the data quality and availability and facilitating the creation of master datasets, with responsibilities in overseeing our various master data domains with their respective data owners. From helping to overcome key business challenges and proactively anticipate the business needs throughout the implementation of the global data master and the data quality framework, to enabling to creation of comprehensive and actionable analytics, the role holder will interact with a wide range of stakeholders to understand complex business, systems, and industry processes in the context of two ERPs migrations.

- Proven experience in Master Data Management, data governance or related fields.
- Strong expertise in data governance principles and frameworks with first-hand experience in implementing data models to support analytics and reporting.
- Oversee master data domains and collaborate with data owners
- Previous experience with Manufacturing, Supply chain, distribution industries or in e-commerce.
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills to foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong SQL skills for extraction and manipulation.
- Power Query, VBA, Python, DAX.
- Strong experience with MDM initiatives in a transformative environment.
- Strong team player with effective communication.
- A transformation/change agent with best data practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
- Proficient in data management tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in agile iterative project management methods.
- Experience in big data cloud approaches.
