RS Group is seeking a dynamic Field based Inventory Representative to deliver Managed Inventory Services across the North West Manchester territory. The role combines customer service, inventory management, and stock replenishment to support our customers’ needs and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits to Managed Inventory customers to check and replenish RS solutions.
  • Work with customer stakeholders to identify growth opportunities through range expansion, product substitution, or ad‑hoc purchase requirements.
  • Collaborate with the RS Managed Inventory implementation team to ensure all systems are fully functional and correct workflows are followed.
  • Observe H&S practices and ensure all Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) are adhered to.
  • Maintain Managed Inventory installations and carry out regular housekeeping activities.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for RS Components, ensuring customers understand the benefits of Managed Inventory Services.
  • Build relationships with the wider sales team to support sales growth and communicate opportunities effectively.
  • Meet KPIs related to Managed Inventory Services.
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to the RS Local Branch when required.

Qualifications

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Previous experience in customer support or service roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, organised, flexible, and a natural problem‑solver.
  • Customer‑first mindset with experience in service or sales.
  • Understanding of stock control or warehouse practices.
