This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field‑based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.

What you will be doing:

  • Spending a part of your time 'on the road', you will be the key point of contact for our customers covering the Preston/Lancaster/Blackburn region.
  • These companies are incredibly varied, coming from a range of different industries and backgrounds.
  • You will be working closely with these customers, looking to identify their challenges with a view to providing them with top‑in‑class solutions and taking your portfolio to the next level.
  • Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
  • Produce robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
  • Build a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors.
  • Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records.
  • Build coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets, including with internal account managers.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in a field‑based sales role with account‑management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets.
  • You are open‑minded, possessing the ability and willingness to embrace change.
  • Someone who takes a solution‑led approach to their work.
  • You possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
  • You are an excellent relationship builder.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Any Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus.
  • A driving licence is essential.
