The Junior Trade Compliance Administrator supports the Trade Compliance team by handling administrative tasks, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting with regulatory screening processes. Trade Compliance is an important part of the RS business, enabling opportunities while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The team is responsible for how we screen external partners and manage export control requirements globally, working with external partners, internal customers, and stakeholders. As a member of the Trade Compliance team, you will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the compliance journey and ensuring they receive the products they have ordered. This position is a hybrid role, based on-site in Corby three days per week.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide administrative and operations support to the Trade Compliance team, ensuring compliance with export control regulations and internal policies. This includes maintaining compliance documentation, assisting with screening, and working with external partners.
- Provide documentation to support external and internal audits and inspections.
- Manage releasing of legal holds for all markets.
- Build appropriate relationships ensuring integrity with local markets.
- Maintain and update compliance files (both paper and electronic), records, and logs ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Assist with export and global sanctions and compliance screenings.
- Assist with trade data analysis and implement data governance practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide general administrative support to the Trade Compliance Team including scheduling of export licences and maintaining all other documentation.
- Support updates and upgrades to the compliance application and system.
- Gain knowledge of export and re-export control and sanctions regulations globally.
- Support product and export teams to identify products that fall under or could be considered to fall under dual-use restrictions.
- Interact professionally with all internal and external customers, vendors and partners.
