Irrigation – Landscape Sprinkler Technician

For over 37 years, R&S Landscaping has provided Bergen County residents and businesses with grounds maintenance, design/build, irrigation, snow/ice removal, lighting, and plant health care.

Our firm is comprised of a seasoned and diverse group of passionate and dedicated professionals.

Sprinkler Tech needed for service work. No installations required.

Year-round position available.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of 1 year hands-on training in irrigation or a related service field.
2. Knowledge of irrigation controllers.
3. Ability to service and troubleshoot all major brands of irrigation equipment.
4. Accurate record keeping.
5. Customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform day-to-day service of clients\’ sprinkler systems as scheduled.
2. Track materials and labor for each client.
3. Complete all service calls in a timely fashion.
4. Recommend repairs and upgrades to the client when needed.
5. Prepare proper tools and supplies for the job.
6. Answer customer questions.
7. Maintain an organized and fully stocked truck at all times.
