Overview
Deliver a range of change initiatives, including strategic projects, small changes, KTLO (Keep the Lights On), and large-scale technology changes, with a focus on time, budget, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Line manage engineers, developers, and architects responsible for project delivery.
- Serve as the first escalation point for the team, providing guidance, removing blockers, and prioritising tasks.
- Cascade objectives to the team and track achievement against agreed goals throughout the year.
- Provide accountability for solution design and architecture for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for building and deploying integrations across the organisation.
- Collaborate with Technology teams, Solution Architects, and Process Leads to develop interfaces aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Review and approve technical integration solutions and associated changes.
- Lead POCs to evaluate middleware tools and technologies for potential business value.
- Ensure systems are scaled, optimized, and meet business requirements and SLAs.
- Oversee integration application uptime and support.
- Maintain and manage technical debt across integration platforms to ensure a lean, maintainable environment.
- Ensure development processes and procedures are followed consistently.
- Support successful implementation of ERP and e-commerce integrations, aligned with security standards and performance guidelines.
- Engage with global business partners to implement best practices.
- Coach and mentor junior developers.
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, overseeing agreements, planning, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Enterprise Integration with a track record of delivering software across the full SDLC using Waterfall and Lean/Agile methodologies.
- Experience leading technical teams throughout the delivery cycle and a solid understanding of environments and release management within the Enterprise Integration domain.
- Strong technical leadership to guide complex integration projects and ensure scalable, reliable delivery.
- Proficiency in enterprise-grade integration technologies (e.g., IBM, SAP CPI, MuleSoft, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience developing SAP interfaces using middleware platforms, including Cloud Platform Integration.
- Experience building integrations between Salesforce, Ariba, Workday, SuccessFactors, e-commerce platforms, and SAP.
- Solid understanding of monitoring CPI and using logging frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of adapters and connectivity technologies (File, RFC, SFTP, SOAP/REST, BAPIs, JMS, B2B, etc.).
- Experience in end-to-end project delivery.
- Familiarity with EDI X.12 and building EDI maps is a plus.
- Experience supervising onsite and offsite teams.
- Significant experience in people management and leading technical delivery teams.
