Commercial Finance Manager EMEA Operations

Location: This role is offered on a permanent basis. It is a hybrid role, offering a combination of remote work (2 days per week) and from our Warrington office (3 days per week).

Overview of the Role: Are you passionate about driving client commercial excellence and supporting strategic commitments? We are seeking a proactive individual to join RS Integrated Supply. As a key member of our finance team, you will support the Commercial Finance Director and the RSIS Executive Leadership Team in achieving strategic goals. You will work closely with UK and Europe operations teams, focusing on client-facing commercial operations, strategic client expansion, contractual revenue, profitability analysis, and cash flow optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop revenue and gross margin targets with Operations leads for the annual budget.
  2. Financial Forecasting: Create accurate financial forecasts and trend analyses for client contractual activities.
  3. Client Profitability: Monitor financial performance at the client level, understand underlying drivers, optimize P&L and cash flow, and utilize Activity-Based Costing to analyze full E2E Operations Cost to Serve.
  4. Client Savings: Report on client savings performance against contractual targets and manage risk provisioning.
  5. Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of client contractual revenues and actively manage working capital.
  6. Client Contracts: Participate in strategic planning to drive growth in spend, sites served, and revenue generation.
  7. Working Capital Management: Collaborate on cash flow management, understand drivers of DSO and DPO, and provide actionable recommendations.
  8. Process Improvement: Continuously enhance the client financial lifecycle process for efficiency and accuracy.

About You:

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and metrics.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for presenting financial information.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Integrity: Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
