  • Create detailed specifications for SAP developers, supporting on-site, nearshore, and offshore teams.
  • Produce high-quality documentation appropriate for each change and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Participate in peer reviews within the Middle and Backoffice function to share knowledge and ensure alignment with SAP standards.
  • Provide technical leadership for critical issues arising during the project lifecycle, enabling informed decision-making by stakeholders.
  • Contribute to testing strategies to ensure key scenarios are covered and risk mitigation measures are in place.
  • Design, develop, and execute implementation, cutover, and migration activities, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
  • Support end-users impacted by new or changed processes.
  • Contribute to SAP best practices, principles, and standards aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic roadmaps.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Design Working Groups as the SME for your SAP Line of Business.
  • Engage in governance groups such as the Technical Design Authority (TDA) and Communities of Practice (CoPs) to ensure compliance with policies, share knowledge, and enhance delivery capability.
  • Review and approve functional specifications and SAP transports from third-party architects and developers, ensuring standards and business model alignment.
  • Operate in an agile, iterative environment, continuously assessing priorities and seizing new opportunities.
  • Challenge stakeholders where necessary to ensure the best outcomes for the organization and technology function.
