RRxCo have been retained to lead the recruitment process for a Principal Scientist / Associate Director of MSAT to join a global pharmaceutical business. In this technical project leadership role, you will be utilizing your strong scientific knowledge to deliver successful inbound and outbound technical transfers of manufacturing processes for vital medicines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a technical project lead to support and perform the initiation, planning and execution of site-to-site manufacturing process transfers, whilst managing key stakeholders as necessary.
- Representing the MSAT department in cross-functional projects supporting all technical aspects of portfolio projects, working with Supply Chain, Integration, M&A, Regulatory and Commercial departments.
- Leveraging your strong technical background to provide technical communication with new and existing manufacturing sites and review and appraise proposed technical projects, seeking guidance where required.
- Evaluate and assess one-off costs including CAPEX as well as proposed CoGs when discussed with CMOs.
- Review and approve relevant technical documentation with reference to product’s MA. This includes product quality documents, certificates of analysis, stability data, BMRs, PQRs, as well as risk assessments.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related.
- Project Management certification (highly desirable).
- Demonstrable experience performing site to site tech transfers.
- Experience spanning small molecule formats, inclusive of steriles, creams, ointments, capsules and/or other solid dose.
- Track record of project leadership and execution.
