Light Vehicle Technicians

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and MOT preparation.
- Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and workshop controllers.
Requirements
- IMI
Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
, or equivalent. - Vehicle Inspection
or
Automotive Engineering
qualification also accepted. - Previous experience in a main-dealer or professional workshop environment.
- Strong technical and diagnostic ability.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- MOT tester certification or hybrid/EV qualification desirable.
