We are a major IT partner of a global FMCG and Food Manufacturing business operating across eight UK sites and 17 countries worldwide. This new role will establish an in-house IT specialist team to support our three core sites in Glasgow, Scunthorpe and Burton.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to O365, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019 and firewall security.
  • Maintain networking infrastructure including routers, switches, Wi‑Fi backups and VoIP systems.
  • Support the technical estate – desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, touchscreens and internal telephone systems.
  • Use the JIRA service desk to manage tickets and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT manager based at the Burton office.

Qualification

  • Experience in IT technical support, preferably with commercial 1st/2nd line troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of O365, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019 and firewall security.
  • Exposure to core networking – Cisco, DNS and DHCP.
  • Entry level; full‑time availability.
  • Car access required; onsite five days per week.
