Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator role at RR (Soapworks). The Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Coordinator supports growth from 20 million to 70 million bars per year by promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring environmental compliance, and protecting people, processes and the planet. Soapworks creates high-quality, sustainable soap and body care products and is seeking a proactive, hands-on SHE Coordinator to help scale production safely and responsibly.

- Salary: £35,000 per annum + 33 days holiday, rising with service

Your Background / Skills: FMCG experience; NEBOSH & Internal Audit qualifications; SHE experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure SHE compliance with legal and company standards
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong SHE culture across all levels
- Develop and support SHE skills among managers, supervisors, and staff
- Oversee risk assessments, safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Manage health & safety policies, procedures, records, and compliance with ISO 14001, 45001, and client standards
- Lead Health & Safety Committee meetings and ensure timely completion of action points
- Monitor and communicate legislative updates and SHE performance KPIs
- Maintain environmental compliance documentation and reporting
- Ensure personal and organizational adherence to health, safety, and environmental procedures
Education / Qualifications
- NEBOSH Qualification
- Internal Audit Qualification
Experience / Skills / Knowledge
- Experience in manufacturing / FMCG, ideally in an SME
- Good knowledge of environmental practices and compliance in manufacturing/FMCG
- Experience in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 internal audits
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience developing and delivering engaging SHE presentations (induction training, toolbox talks)
- Experience with continuous improvement tools (advantageous)

- Clear and engaging communicator (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail, relationship building, leadership in SHE
- Critical thinking and integrity
