Responsibilities:
As Technical Sales Executive, you will focus on winning new business, increasing sales and expanding our client base. You will identify potential clients, nurture leads, qualify opportunities and convert prospects into long‑term partnerships. From proactive outreach and networking through to tender bids, quotations, presentations and project wins, you will play a key role in helping Fibre Technologies grow across new and existing markets. You will also broaden the penetration of our manufacturer and service offerings, helping clients understand the full value of what we can deliver across fibre optic infrastructure, connectivity, active equipment and wider technical solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify target organisations, research decision‑makers and generate leads through outreach, networking, social selling and market intelligence.
- Qualify each opportunity to ensure strong commercial fit.
- Own the new business sales journey from first contact through to tender, quote, presentation and project win.
- Build trust with prospects, understand their infrastructure challenges and position Fibre Technologies’ technical solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM, provide clear forecasts and track opportunities until win or loss.
- Use market insight to help win the right clients in the right sectors with long‑term potential.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in telecoms, datacoms, technology or related field.
- At least 5 years of successful solutions sales experience within a technology business.
- Proven track record of generating leads and winning new business.
- Strong technical knowledge across data, telecoms, datacoms or technology arenas.
- Customer‑focused, commercially aware and target driven.
- Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and produce reliable forecasts.
- Aptitude for CRM proficiency and working in an SME team is advantageous.
