An opportunity has arisen for a Voids Manager to support the delivery of void property management within a housing service. This role will focus on ensuring vacant properties are inspected, repaired and returned to use efficiently, supporting housing availability and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the voids process from property vacation through inspection, repair and re-let.
- Arrange and review property inspections and prepare specifications for required works.
- Oversee contractors delivering void repairs, ensuring works are completed to agreed standards, cost and timescales.
- Monitor void turnaround performance and address delays or operational issues.
- Liaise with housing, allocations, repairs and asset teams to coordinate property readiness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, statutory requirements and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate records on housing management and asset systems.
- Support performance reporting and service improvement activity.
