We are delighted to be working with a highly respected architecture and building consultancy practice known for its innovative approach and commitment to creating people-focused, sustainable design solutions. On their behalf, we are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join their dynamic team and contribute to a diverse range of impactful projects.

Under the management of the Project Lead, manage the project, including the project team and effectively utilise their skills, plus your own, to bring the project to a successful conclusion. Maintain a clear vision, to ensure that the Client's Objectives are met whilst managing the project delivery.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure AHR's Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and BIM Management policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Take responsibility for managing the data security of your project(s).
  • Provide a single point of contact for the Client and their Design Team.
  • Carefully develop the tasks assigned to you into working proposals. Where asked to, produce design options for review by your peers.
  • Take receipt of a brief from an AHR Manager or Client, and with only limited intervention from them, develop it into a design or package of work in line with the RIBA Plan of Work.
  • Ensure the information is complete, or that AHR has adequate information to progress the design to an agreed level of development.
  • Develop the design. Incorporate the Client's objectives, including improvement opportunities flagged through Engagement or Review.
  • Apply lessons-learned from previous AHR projects.
  • Identify the applicable legislative and regulatory requirements that apply to the project.
  • Under the supervision of your mentor, learn how to produce compliant designs and assist in their delivery. Apply this learning to your outputs.
  • Prepare compliant designs by following UK Construction Law, British Standards and relevant CoPs.
  • Under the supervision of the Project Lead, learn how to manage and coordinate the output of production information in line with a project programme.
  • Coordinate the Design with the Client, the Designers and the Principal Contractor (where applicable).
  • Communicate, cooperate and share ideas with Clients, Designers and Principal Contractors.
  • Organise timely Project Reviews in line with AHR's QMS requirements. Ensure the correct people are in attendance. Record and take into account any actions arising.
  • Undertake proper and sufficient checking of self-authored information prior to forwarding to the Project Lead for approval (or direct to the Client).
  • Manage and be responsible for the service delivery.
