Rally Preparation Services is a specialist classic and vintage car restoration, preparation, and maintenance company in Witney Oxfordshire. We work with classic car owners at the highest level and are renowned globally for our unique expertise in both the classic and vintage car market. We are seeking an experienced Lead Technician to join and support our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional who not only has strong technical expertise but can also take a leading role within the workshop, guiding projects, fault finding, diagnosing and supporting other technicians. About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of classic and vintage vehicles
- Assist in overseeing restoration projects from planning through to completion
- Support and mentor other technicians within the workshop
- Carry out specialist event preparation work
- Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency are maintained
- Assist in workshop organisation and workflow management
- Diagnose and fault find issues presented
- Report back to Workshop Controller and Foreman
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience within the automotive industry, ideally with classic/vintage vehicles
- Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in vehicle restoration and servicing
- Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Reliable, conscientious, and professional attitude
- Good numeracy and computer literacy skills
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements
Additional Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Overtime and Saturday rota in place)
