RPS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our Warrington Water Team, looking after projects related to a variety of major long‑term water industry frameworks across the UK. In addition to a range of long‑term programmes across the UK water industry, RPS and Tetra Tech have successfully won a £100 million single‑award framework from United Utilities to support the improvement of river health across the Northwest of England. RPS has been working with United Utilities for over 20 years on innovative projects. About The Team
RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. Our Water Consultancy business has a range of prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond, where you’ll be securing your career for the next 20 years, leaving a lasting legacy!
About You
As a key member of the Water Consultancy business, your role as Project Administrator is critical to helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients. You will be working alongside a multi‑disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects. You will have a substantial opportunity to contribute to the success of optioneering, outline and detailed design projects across the North West. Our scope of work encompasses a wide range of technically demanding projects in the field of Wastewater Infrastructure that require strong project controls. Your Responsibilities
- Providing crucial support to the Commercial & Programme Director.
- General administrative support for the wider Commercial and Programme team.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings.
- Assist with the preparation of documents, such as presentations / spreadsheets and charts.
- Support with meeting notes.
- Providing personalised support for other team members.
- Ability to work at Lingley Mere (Warrington) a minimum of three days per week.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites as and when the Client requires this.
Skills, Knowledge, & Experience
- A background as a Team Administrator, Business Support, or Personal / Executive Assistant would be ideal.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications.
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
- Planning and Organising: efficiently prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Team Collaboration: work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Communication: clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of channels.
