RPS, a Tetra Tech company, has been selected by United Utilities, one of the United Kingdom's largest listed water companies, to be part of a £100 million single-award framework to support the improvement of river health across the Northwest of England. Under this 10-year framework, RPS will drive program optimization, develop solutions, and select the preferred options based on best value, lowest carbon, and cost.
Our RPS operations in England have provided United Utilities with high-end modeling, technical, operational, and critical infrastructure services for two decades. We look forward to continuing to use our Leading with Science approach and global water expertise to provide innovative technical solutions that promote a stronger, greener, and healthier Northwest of England.

About The Business: It's an exciting time to be working for our UK and Ireland Water business as the workload in the water market takes off. With a broad portfolio of long-term framework agreements in place, we are ideally placed to help our clients deliver on the challenges facing them over the coming years - whether that is reducing leakage, pollution, and flooding, or improving the environment and levels of service to their customers.
Our Water business employs around 1000 highly skilled and motivated people working on projects for all the water and sewerage companies across the UK and Ireland, and most of the water-only companies. We deliver a full range of end-to-end water and wastewater services including data collection and analytics; modelling and risk analysis/optimisation; data visualisation and mapping; artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions; feasibility studies; outline and detailed design of capital solutions; and development of optimised, risk-based, operational interventions.
