Occupational Health Physician who will be responsible for providing chargeable service delivery, whilst maintaining professional standards and accreditation. This is a permanent role working for clients based in both the Midlands and Yorkshire . We are flexible in terms of number of days you can offer, and will work around your personal preferences.
About The Team
The RPS Occupational Health business is a team of clinicians that take pride in actively promoting and maintaining good health in the workplace, through undertaking risk-based health surveillance, wellbeing, health screening and case management.
We\'re a team of qualified, Occupational Health Doctors, Nurses, Technicians and Advisors. We foster a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration, with shared goals for individual and company success. We emphasise quality over quantity, limiting case management assessments to six per day for manageable workloads and superior service, boosting staff morale and retaining our staff for the long term.
About You
As a key member of the Occupational Health business, your role as Occupational Health Physician is critical to helping our clients manage health and wellbeing solutions.
You will deliver consultations covering fitness for work, absence management, and provision of expert advice on health surveillance.

Your Responsibilities
Undertaking a wide variety of casework including management referrals, pension eligibility assessments, HSE Appointed Doctor medicals, OEUK medicals and Tier 4 Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome assessments. Part of your role will be to participate in audit activities that benefit clinical practice to maintain SEQOHS accreditation. It will also be part of your remit to oversee quality and clinical management – ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance, “best in class” customer relations management, supporting business development, health and safety, people and financial management, and continued professional development.
Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

  • IT literate with working knowledge of MS office suite. eOPAS and able to learn new systems quickly
  • Knowledge of quality management and accreditation systems and work-related health matters
  • Flexible, highly motivated team player with outstanding people skills
  • Ability to understand and meet targets and deadlines
  • Able to learn and assimilate new information
  • Well-developed deductive and intuitive abilities
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Occupational Medicine (essential)
  • AFOM/ MFOM qualified – (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence - JP1
