Overview
RPS are seeking an Inventory & Supply Manager to join the Asset, Surveying, and Inspection (AS&I) team. This role is office/workshop-based at the Clevedon site and supports the Project Management team by tracking and maintaining surveying and safety equipment. The role suits someone with experience in asset management, electrical engineering, fleet and equipment management, or managing a busy workshop environment. The starting salary is £35,000 with extensive benefits including a car allowance or company car.
Responsibilities
- Provide line management to workshop technicians and manage the whereabouts of surveying and safety equipment. Deliver technical support to workshop staff, ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, and ensure field teams have the correct equipment for each project. Maintain full servicing and calibration records and keep accurate details of condition and location.
- Manage all owned and hired assets and maintain a database of equipment. Manage supplier relationships, equipment orders, servicing, and technical support. Demonstrate innovative thinking with a focus on technology and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment including flow monitoring equipment, rain gauges, confined space entry equipment such as gas detectors, tripod & winch, and escape breathing apparatus.
Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills and proficient user of MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly efficient, organized with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work quickly and accurately
- Approachable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
- Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
Qualifications
- Must have a full UK Driving Licence
