Overview
RPS Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom is seeking to recruit Hydraulic Modellers to support our water quality, coastal and flood risk management business. We are open to applications from across the UK and Ireland to support our core teams working in Belfast and Scottish offices. We’re keen to hear from all levels of experience and capability, including high performing graduates looking to work in this sector, those with experience looking to enhance and develop their capabilities and experts with a proven track record of building, calibrating and verifying complex numerical models.
Experience
- Use of packages such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE suite of software, Flood Modeller Pro or other industry standard modelling packages
- Experience or desire to work in the design and development water environment solutions within the specialist areas of flood risk management, water quality, integrated catchment management and coastal processes
- Preferably experience working with a diverse range of UK and Republic of Ireland clients
- Experience in the use of ARC GIS and AutoCAD would be an advantage
- Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and other professionals
- Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team level
- Good work ethic and willingness to deliver as part of a team
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant field of science or engineering
- Chartered Membership or near Chartered for more senior posts
