Graduate Structural Engineer – 2026 Intake (Glasgow)
Join Tetra Tech RPS’s two‑year Graduate Scheme as a Structural Engineer and kickstart your consulting career. You will work on renewables infrastructure, transmission, transportation and flood protection projects across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer you will collaborate with experienced engineers to design and deliver projects. Your contributions span the full project lifecycle – from concept design to construction – and include:
- Preparing technical drawings and calculations that meet industry standards
- Attending client meetings and site visits
- Co‑creating solutions that improve lives and shape cities
- Working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver on schedule and budget

Programme Highlights

Your Pathway
You will be assigned a location, cost centre, line manager and a technical discipline based on your qualifications and business needs. Should you wish to change discipline at the end of the programme, we will consider your interests in line with business requirements.
CMI Partnership
The scheme includes the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager pathway. Flexible, online Bite‑Size programs cover subjects such as Managing Change, Leading in a Digital Age, Conflict Resolution, Project Management and Data‑Driven Decision Making.

Submit a current CV that details your academic background, relevant experience and motivation for joining the programme. Applications will be acknowledged upon receipt.
- Initial screening → online assessment evaluating key competencies and problem‑solving skills
- Intermediate selection → final assessment, either an in‑person interview or assessment centre (depending on location and discipline)
