A Trainee Customer Side Leakage (CSL) Technician is required to join the Asset Survey team at RPS to work on our South-East & South-West Water contract covering Basingstoke. This role would be responsible for attending appointments at customer’s properties to ascertain potential leaks on the customer’s property and so, would be customer facing. This is an essential role in reducing leakage in our client’s water distribution network. This is a permanent, full-time contract (40hrs pw) paying minimum wage. For the right individual, full training would be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Attending customer appointments.
- Site investigations to locate and then check the meter.
- Prove supply of water via tap tests.
- Meter readings.
- Investigations into potential customer side leaks both internal and external.
- Assisting the customer with the leak repair process & procedures.

- Full UK driving licence – You would be required to drive yourself between appointments and sites.
- A good geographical knowledge of the Hampshire area will be highly advantageous as efficient route planning across the whole region is a must.
