RPS, a Tetra Tech company, is looking for an Associate Director to join our busy offices in Oxford, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff or Manchester . The role can be hybrid, full-time or part-time.
About The Team
Our EIA team works on exciting projects including offshore/onshore wind farms, solar, battery storage, airports, and data centers. We also handle smaller EIA projects across various sectors.
Our Projects Include
- Offshore wind and transmission projects, including Mona Offshore Wind Project and others.
- Airports like Gatwick and Manston.
- Large-scale solar projects at all DCO process stages.
- Onshore wind projects in Wales and Scotland.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead major EIA projects as project director.
- Manage resources and provide expert advice.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Oversee project finances and bid for future work.
- Manage team members and develop project solutions.
Applicants with expertise in ecology, hydrology, health, or socio-economics are encouraged to apply.

We Would Like You To Have
- Experience leading DCO/DNS EIA projects independently.
- Experience as main client contact on complex projects.
- Good understanding of the Planning Act and EIA regulations.
- Proven project management and financial planning skills.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to travel.
- Experience in winning EIA work and technical assessments in relevant areas (desirable).
A full UK driving license is required.
Qualifications
- Degree in environmental subject; MSc preferred.
