RPS is expanding and looking to strengthen our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices with Graduate Wastewater Engineers, Modellers, and Planners. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in an environment that recognizes your efforts and talent. We aim for a start date of September 2024 or earlier if possible.
The graduate roles in our strategy team will involve office and home-based work, with opportunities for site visits for data collection. Career paths include: Wastewater Engineering, Modelling, and Planning. Key locations: Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Your Responsibilities:
- Handling and analyzing large datasets
- Survey planning and supervision
- Using GIS software such as MapInfo, QGIS, and ArcGIS
- Data statistical analysis
- Preparing reports
- Constructing and analyzing hydraulic sewer network models using InfoWorks ICM
- Catchment planning, risk assessment, and intervention strategies
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders
- Contributing to the development and documentation of software tools
About You:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science
- Modules in wastewater, hydraulics, GIS, or flood risk are desirable but not essential
- Good communication and writing skills
- Team problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and computing skills
