We are currently recruiting multiple Senior Wastewater (Hydraulic) Modellers for long-term frameworks across the UK.
RPS, in partnership with Tetra Tech, has secured a £100 million framework to support river health improvements in Northwest England, working with United Utilities.
About The Team:
RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts delivering Asset Management and Operational Strategy to water industry clients, with a focus on innovation and teamwork.
About You:
Applicants should have experience in urban drainage projects and proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software, with strong teamwork and leadership skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies, including hydraulic modelling and analysis.
- Assess solution feasibility and engineering factors.
- Improve tools, procedures, and processes for efficiency and innovation.
- Ensure quality and compliance of outputs.
- Travel to client sites or offices as needed.
- Lead and manage project teams, fostering strong client relationships.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Knowledge of water industry legislation and regulation.
- Experience managing projects of varying sizes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Expertise in InfoWorks ICM and related software.
- Proficiency in MS 365, GIS, and familiarity with FME, Python, etc. is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant technical field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Chartered or working towards chartership.
- Membership with professional institutions like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM is desirable.
