We are looking for Senior Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modellers to join our Water Consultancy team. We aim to grow our people, benefit our environment, and enjoy what we do. From strategy development and business planning support to solution development, testing, optimisation, and design, we offer a full range of water services built on our deep expertise in hydraulic and water quality modelling. We are currently recruiting professionals with a background in Water Engineering at all levels.

About The Team: Join our Clean Water (Hydraulic) Modelling Team to work on a prestigious SR21 Technical Consultancy Framework driven by Scottish Water's approach to utilise, maintain, and construct their hydraulic modelling library. We seek hydraulic modellers at all levels to support water programmes such as optioneering, outline/detailed design, and asset condition assessment. You will work within a skilled hydraulic team to support design, carry out zonal studies, and develop solutions for water engineering projects. This work is expected to continue into SR27 and beyond, securing your career for years to come.

About You: We are looking for ambitious engineering professionals with a passion for problem-solving and Water Industry experience in areas including:

  • Water engineering and network analysis expertise, delivering complex or innovative projects, ensuring compliance with client and design standards, and producing quality plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, including providing technical guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Knowledge of GIS systems (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Experience with InfoWorks WS Pro, Synergi, or similar water modelling tools.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence; travel to sites and offices may be required.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
  • Coding skills (Ruby, Python, etc.) are desirable but not essential.

Your Responsibilities: Technical development and delivery of clean water modelling projects, including scoping, model build, maintenance, zonal and growth studies, and design support. Preparing technical and analytical reports. Collaborating within multi-disciplinary project teams and maintaining strong client relationships. Providing technical guidance to junior team members. Ensuring quality and compliance with client specifications. Adhering to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
