You will currently be working with environmental issuespreferably related to the water environment. Having worked in your role forbetween 1 to 3 years and having started to develop an understanding of waterenvironment issues such as flooding, water quality, droughts and drainage. Youwill have some experience working with the associated software and you will bepassionate in developing a better water environment in the UK.
Key responsibilities:
Research water issues such as flooding, water quality,droughts and drainage using publicly available and bespoke data sets.
Undertake site walkovers and other technical anddepartmental duties associated with the role;
Provide support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ESChapters;
Undertake consultations with Local Planning Authorities(LPA), Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFA) and other Stakeholders including EA;
Support in bid preparation and fee proposals;

We are primarily looking for a qualified engineer orscientist with a relevant degree such as Civil Engineering or Physical Geography,but we are interested in you as long as you have relevant expertise and are aself-starting team player.
