RPS, Tetra Tech continue to grow, and we are now looking to reinforce our Water Consultancy business across our Sheffield, Derby, Newcastle, and London Offices, with Graduate Wastewater Engineers & Modellers. This is an exciting and unrivalled opportunity to develop and progress in an environment where your efforts and talent are recognised. We are looking at start dates throughout 2026.
We will be hosting a Virtual Graduate Assessment Centre on the 20th of January. The day will last from 9.25 to around 16.00, and involve:
- Welcome Presentation
- Group Presentation Exercise
- Technical Assessment
- Individual Interview
The Graduate roles available in the strategy team will combine office/home-based working alongside professionals who are at the forefront of the industry, with opportunities to complete site work where required for data collection.

Your Responsibilities (variable depending on your career pathway):
- Data handling and analysis of large datasets
- Statistical analysis of data
- Preparation of factual and interpretative reports
- Construction and maintenance of statistical models
- Client and stakeholder engagement and management
- Provide input to development, maintenance and documentation of bespoke software tools and applications
- Use of GIS, including software such as QGIS and ArcGIS
About You:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, and GIS
- Modules covering wastewater, hydraulics, GIS or flood risk are desirable but not essential
- Good communication skills and written English
- Ability to work in a team to solve problems that matter
- Computing skills including previous experience of Excel
