Due to an increasing workload, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Technician to join our Ports and Harbours Infrastructure Team based in Belfast.

About The Team:
Our Northern Ireland business employs over 300 staff and has been providing services to the UK and ROI for the past 70 years. The Maritime Sector within RPS has been responsible for some of the UK and Ireland’s most prestigious port developments. We are also engaged on many exciting projects within the offshore wind, wave, and tidal sectors.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Two plus years’ experience with AutoCAD and similar packages
- Suitable relevant experience of working in an engineering consultancy on infrastructure projects
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Revit would be an advantage
- Experience in reinforcement detailing would be an advantage
- A full driving licence
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of engineering drawings and modifications incorporating engineering comments
- Assisting engineers in preparation of technical details
- Assisting Project Managers and Engineers with design and preparation of supporting documents for statutory applications
- Preparation of preliminary, tender, and contract documents and drawings
