Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic Technology Team. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of security and compliance, protecting the critical data that the business requires to deliver outstanding Digital Solutions.

This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the UK. Occasional travel may be required to our offices across the UK, including Abingdon.

About You:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining SecOps solutions, controls, and processes across the organisation, and liaising with the rest of the business units to ensure compliance with corporate standards. Strong communication and partnership skills are essential as you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to mitigate risks.

You’ll be joining a newly formed Cyber team, supporting them to deliver compliance with relevant Cyber Security regulations, standards, and frameworks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Cyber Security policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Implement and manage security monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to security events
  • Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Monitor security logs, alerts, and reports identifying potential security incidents or anomalies
  • Provide support to regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security policies and controls
  • Provide reporting on security incidents, compliance status and risk assessments

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience in similar cyber security roles, with experience in implementing security frameworks (e.g. NIST, CAF, ISO)
  • Prior hands‑on experience with Vulnerability Management & Threat Intelligence
  • Experience contributing to enterprise‑level security initiatives
  • Third‑party vendor relationship experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with security tools, firewalls and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Exposure to penetration testing techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, OSCP) #LI-SY1
